Wallaby Ridge Hideaway has been family-owned for over 30 years. Our first bed and breakfast venture began in 1999 with the construction of the Stone and Terracotta Cottages.

Later, renovations were made to the main Farm House and the Valley View Cottage. The addition of a caretaker's residence has now allowed us to offer cozy accommodation for up to 22 guests.

In recent years, Wallaby Ridge faced significant challenges, nearly being lost in the horrific 2019 bushfires. Thanks to the sheer determination of Liz, Dan, and a few close friends, Wallaby Ridge Hideaway still stands today. 95% of our 100-acre property was burnt, 98% of our fencing was lost, and we had the enormous task of removing the old fence before replacing it with a new one. We also lost some beautiful old pine trees along our driveway and a number of fruit trees. It's been a long road to recovery and re-beautifying the grounds. However, the past few wet years have worked wonders for the forest and the recovery of the farm.

Come meet Liz and Dan, who together have over 50 years of experience in the customer service, hospitality, and restaurant industry.
